Hey guys, I need two things, Does anyone have a beta Motor in their accent? If so can you give me the specs? Was it a hard swap, run into any problems? And do you have pictures of installation. Thanks. Because I have a 2k1 Beta motor on hold in excellent condition waiting to be put into my 2k1 accent, just wanna get a heads up before I go and do it.

 

Kore just got done doing this. They had the car at Carlisle. There's was an X3 though. The only pics I've seen of the swaps have been the X3 (95-99). I've heard it's supposed to be easier in the LC, but there is still some things you will prolly have to have custom made. Maybe like mounts, brackets, axles, etc.

 

I thought the only difference was the one engine mount, unless you wanted to not use tib axles. ???

 

Well I guess you could use the Tib's shorten and strengthen them.
