Dropping a V6 into an Accent isn't the best option. It'll be too heavy and way too complicated. Since your profile is showing you have a 95 Accent, you're best option is to drop in either a 1.8 or 2.0 4 cylinder beta engine from a Tiburon or Elantra. It's been done hundreds of times with ease and simplicity. It'll give you a lot more power (especially if you decide to turbo the beta engine), and it wont hurt your handling or bank account as much as a V6. If you do a search for Beta Swap, you'll find more info on here than you can shake a stick at. If you have any other questions about it, let us know. This is something people here are experts in and can definitely steer you in the right direction or give guidance on.

V6 swaps have been done. The 2.7l and 3.5l Hyundai V6 can fit under the hood of the LC/LC2 (2000-2005) Accent, but I can't recall seeing one installed in an X3 like yours. It would probably fit. There probably won't be anyone here that can give much assistance.

As Visionz stated though, the 2.0l is a better route. You can swap it in and still have enough room for a turbo, and that will handily beat any V6 swap that would be feasible. Anything is possible with enough time, money, and effort, but the 2.0l swap would be a better investment.

I have seen 2.7L Deltas and 3.8L 6G75 MIVEC. Everything has to be custom made and you have to reinforce the "chassis".
