You hear the term a lot in todays sport compact scene. Same with flush, hellaflush, poke, etc. Those are more specific suspension terms but “stance” is very generic. How do you all define it?

This is my personal definition
"Stance" is part ride height, part wheel size(how well they fill the wheel wells) and also wheel caster/camber settings. A car can be slammed and have a f-ed up "stance" because the camber on the front/rear wheels is all wrong. I can can have a good "stance" even if it's not slammed, but simply tastefully lowered, with decent wheels/tires and the proper caster/camber.
But everyone has their own definition/opine.

I don't see why everybody gets so butthurt about stance, just like any other visual fad(bodykits, tints, LEDs, murdering out etc), it looks great when done in moderation!
Stance is a general term for how well the car comes together as a package. Random defined it pretty nicely IMO.

That doesn't look mean. That looks slow.
If you want something pretty and non-functional, buy a painting.
"Stance" belongs in the trash bin of the English language, along with "murdered out".
