Sound Deadening for Wheel Wells
I was taking a ride in my friend's Genesis after he applied 3M Rubberized Undercoating to all 4 wheel wells. Amazingly, it really reduces the sounds of rock and gravel that jumps into the wheel well, especially in construction areas and highways. It somewhat reduces the cabin noise slightly but I can't tell for sure. It's a nice addition, and it gives a nice black finish (according to 3M, "OEM Finish").
I'm gonna give it a try this weekend.

I don't know if they make the wheelwell liners thicker these days, but on my 2000 it cut road noise down a LOT when I undercoated in the wheelwells and under the floor. HIGHLY recommended. Just keep it away from the exhaust.
