Pain in the ass bracket
 

Spent an hour tonight trying to get a new battery in the Genesis and finally threw in the white flag. The little bracket that holds it in place just would not bolt down. I'm not sure if the bolt just isn't long enough or what. Plus, there's hardly any room to get your hands and fingers down between the battery and the strut enclosure and strut bar. I used a ratchet extension to reach down to where the bracket was but it just was not bolting in. Damn you Hyundai for making something that should be easy and simple, much more difficult than it needs to be. lol

What battery did you get? Is it a different base making that mounting bolt not line up?

I bought a longer bolt and that did the trick. All is well now! :)
