Default Man, how do you guys afford all your mods?

I work full time, and make an ok living. I can pay all my bills and still have some money left over for savings. But some of you guys seem like you dump thousands of dollars into your cars or are always buying new wheels or something else thats not cheap. Are you guys taking out loans or putting charges on credit cards or is there some secret hook up somewhere thats allowing you guys do all these mods for dirt cheap? Spill it and lets hear the secrets!

^ +1.

I do almost everything myself so I don't pay someone to do it. Unfortunately, I learned from tinkering with the car. Was it worth doing financially? No. But I wouldn't have learned anything had it not been for that. Now I know therefore I do things correctly, precisely, and I save money by knowing what and what not to buy.

It has lead to usefulness and resiliency that will carry me throughout life.

Married, no kids, no pets, work hard - play harder. A car takes a while to build, just save up and spend it when you can. If you want to build and mod a car on a limited budget, it's best to start with something used and that doesn't cost $25,000. Stick within your budget.

BOO!! ^^ Where's the love for the Accents? BTW- his Accent is Beta swapped.

When you see someone driving a modded car, they more than likely worked their ass off for it (unless mommy and daddy bought it for them, I hate those fvckers). And +1 to doing your own work, that's a HUGE saving right there.

LOL!!!

Accents are great for the money though. If you're riding the bus because you can't afford a car, it's because you're wishing for a GMC Suburban and not a Hyundai Accent for $100.00.

That is awesome.

I work so hard and he goes out and buys a Mazda

Correction Cujo, a bad ass 02 Accent, the rest of the statement may very well hold true in some wrecking yards lol. Also the beta swap is just the tip of the iceberg.
