Was just in the garage looking at my engine, and noticed that the coolant level in the overflow tank was below the min line. It's not leaking anywhere but is it normal for a car to loose coolant quickly? Should I be concerned or look at something to cause the low coolant?

You'll lose a little over time - it's not a perfectly sealed system. When's the last time you checked? If it's a thousand miles, maybe worry. If it's 20,000 miles, maybe just check the engine oil and coolant for color/consistency and don't worry if they look okay. Check all the hose fittings, looking carefully for signs of leaks or discolored drips under the hoses.
I know my car has a habit of seeping coolant at a particular hose fitting. Then it dries, and clogs the hole. Alternatives range from "normal" to "new engine time" so it's definitely worth looking into.
