If the vendors were smart, they would drop Gen Coupe, put a message on their websites and send an email to all customers and come here.
Free vendor area, and A TON of GC owners are coming here and staying away from Gen Coupe.
Benefits:
Vendors dont waste money
Members dont have to deal with bad staff
The community grows

Sorry, but this site just simply doesn't have the same amount of traffic as gencoupe. Losing out on too big of a market by not being on there. This is a nice site and all, but there's not THAT many people who've gone here and left the other one.
Also, not all of the staff at Gencoupe are bad. Most of the moderators are pretty nice guys and the admin Dwayn is a nice guy as well. You just have to keep in mind that the site is ran by a company for the purpose of making a profit, which is not always in line with what the community wants.

This is true, gencoupe gets considerably higher traffic than any of the other Genesis Coupe related forums. I'm not completely jumping ship off gencoupe as I still chat with locals there, there's also a lot of vendors and helpful information (if you sift through the pages of BS) It does, however, make sense (to me at least) to join this forum if you're a vendor. What do you have to lose? More business? So tell your vendor buddies to join!

Oh yea, and another thing I like about this forum...
A) I don't have to worry about posting a link to a product somewhere else that might compete with a "supporting vendor" (ever heard of price matching?)
B) As far as I can tell, you can link to your local club on your sig without worrying about not complying with the "rules".
Though I still can't cuss

Soon as I found out about here I got G&M to join, so I think most of the vendors on Gencoupe (minus generic ones like Discount Tire) are already here. I do know a couple people in my area that've wanted to do stuff for the Hyundai market (small shops) but weren't going to pay hundreds of dollars a month for the privilege so I'll get them to join up here as well.
Thanks guys. One thing to remember is that Hyundai Aftermarket may not get as much Genesis traffic, but its growing ridiculously fast where as GC is slowing down.
Another thing to remember is that we get more traffic than any other other Hyundai forum on the net from a non model specific stand point. Our member base, visitors, and traffic comes from ALL Hyundai owners which will benefits the shops who offer products for multiple Hyundai models, greatly.
Korean Auto Imports as an example does an insane amount business from visitors of this forum.

Could you put in a word to Piranha RaceWerks? I talked to BadBoyBill, but I don't think he believes me. I tried real hard to not sound like I was a spambot lol.

I don't know any of the guys at PRW very well, but I'll send him a message.
Edit: Need TurboXS over here too I think.
I would love it if the vendors from gencoupe came here. I still wont ever go back to gencoupe though regardless and I know for a fact that theres alot of people who feel the same way. That site has a really bad reputation and anybody who does a search on the web will be able to see that. It will over time bring more people to sites like this one. Words and reviews travel pretty quick and people will learn sooner or later that gencoupe is not a good place to be at. And if members do sign up there, it will be really quick before they see what type of horrible place it is and they will start searching for something better. Members on this site will be more than happy to guide those people to here I bet just as Im doing.
It's really not that bad. The specific knowledge there, will hardly make it to this site. I'm not discrediting this site, or hyping that one up. I'm stating what I think, will become evident soon enough. This is an all Hyundai forum. Not a specific forum. But, I always like to leave a lil room so, it could happen. But, I don't think it will. Things are being greatly exaggerated. I for one, prefer both sites. I like that you can talk to people here in the shoutbox. But, if I'm trying to learn something Gen Coupe specific Gencoupe.com has the most info...thats a fact.
