I drove a Festiva before I got my Accent. When I got my Accent I was really impressed with the quality of the car and value for the money. I know of the earlier Hyundais.
But the Bashing of Gen Coupe drivers or of the Gen Coupe community strikes of wanting for something. Just enjoy the car you have and be happy.

^It's not the whole community, but the ones that own those websites, allow this complete disengagement to occur, and the ones that think they are hot shots because their cars came like that from the factory.
I love cars, even Mustangs (esp. the old ones, and Cosworth Escorts!), Vettes, Supras, Celicas (GT-Four's), you name it! But those guys stick with each other. I had to hang out with the Honda forum at the last car show (which is the second-largest on the East coast) because the newtiburon forum dipped on me. Honestly, the Honda guys (and girls!!) were so much fun to hang out with, they even invited me to their meets. So I parked next to a Genesis owner because I thought it would be good, and for photos. He couldn't care less.
That was my experience, as well as my experience on their forums. I put a value on knowing your tribes when being dropped into the middle of the Amazon jungle from a helicopter.

If that means we use our brains to bring everyone together, and they use their testosterone to divide themselves up and thwart away anyone/thing that gets in their way

Just like any situation, there's the good, the bad, and the ugly (no I didn't steal that, I made it up
). I've been to plenty of genesis meets with other vehicle makes. Its quite often that we get Accents showing up. Rarely any Tibs though. Psychological complex maybe? lol. It all comes down to the group, and internet forums attract anonymous douche bags from all walks of life. If you parked next to me, I'd shoot the sh*t with you.Recent Hyundai meet from last summer (shitty Magic Video(Power Director 9))

EDIT: Yeah, we had a Saab too.
LOL, you know it.
That was a quick response too. Almost as fast as Gencoupe
lol
EDIT: For anyone that watched the video, those bikers before the Beige Caliber yelled "f*ck You" to the Genesis behind me for driving in the wrong lane. (he was taking pics)(what pricks Genesis drivers are, j/k).

CORRECTION: there's none of it here (so far). Every post I've read and every person that I've talked to here has been really cool, it's definitely a different atmosphere.
