So THIS is where you came to. I saw your topic on gencoupe about you guys leaving and I didnt know this was the forum you were hopping to. Now I know for a fact that I will NEVER go back to gencoupe since you guys are here. You guys are the best vendor for genesis owners anywhere imo.

He's insulting redV6genesis's math skills since that member claimed that this site gets more traffic than gencoupe, but if you check the stats on the homepage of each forum you can easily see that's not true. Not even close.
It shouldn't matter, but for some it does.

Again, I like this site, but it really doesn't have the same traffic as Gencoupe. Even combined it's not close.
This is from a Web traffic site Compete:
http://siteanalytics.compete.com/hyu...termarket.org/ Rank: 1,332,574 Visitors: 769
http://siteanalytics.compete.com/gencoupe.com/ Rank: 147,808 Visitors: 10,879
90% of those visitors that GC gets are from the Auto Guide robots and spiders being logged as visitation hits. I know this because I'm friends with the owner of another site that was purchased by Auto Guide. This is why 99% of their sites are built on vBulletin software, because they can build in the functionality of their sites being hit with false traffic, which in turn allows them to charge so much for advertising and vendors. They tell vendors they get a certain amount of hits, when in reality...its all fake and not real.
Again...I know this for an absolute fact, and even have a copy of the documents that show this in plain written english.
I should also mention that HA has received 3 different offers to be purchased, which I refused to sell. Plans were made to make this the forfront of ALL Hyundai forums and the master site that all other ones linked off of. But it meant selling my soul to the devil and turning this place into a haven of spam, banner ads, and ridiculous crap.
I also know that EXD has had offers, and what the offer included and what would be done to those sites, as well as Soul Hamsters. Those sites all have declined Auto Guide's offers because they know as well, what AG does to sites, and the fake traffic they build in. I know the logistics, the coding, and functionality that Auto Guide does to all of their websites, and its not good or truthful one bit.

^ Don't know if it makes any difference, but those figures are for unique visitors. You are right though that they tell the vendors inflated figures (they also use page-views instead of visitors).
Can you post up this document that supports what you said?

I'm not at liberty to post confidential documents that could land me in legal trouble, because they are for other sites...not HA. And the figures you posted are DEFINITELY not unique visitors, because HA receives close to 30,000 unique visitors per month (Google analytics have been posted in the past proving this). Our visitors are spanned world wide...not just in the states.
Regardless...AG does alot of real shady and unethical things when it comes to their sites. They're a business and they only care about money, so they will do what ever they can to increase revenue and profit.
Here's the bottom line though that I have said over and over again....
HA has absolute no interest in competing with GC, or any other site at that. We follow a certain code of conduct here and that includes:
1. Be as friendly and helpful as possible to anyone that has any questions
2. Never charge money to companies who offer things that will help the community grow
3. Dont ever act like a nazi or jerk towards people who genuinely want to learn the potential of their vehicle
4. Dont be unethical in any way
There will be forums that get butt hurt because regardless if they want to admit it or not, HA is a threat because of what we offer. Members will join here, not go to other sites anymore, or go back and forth. Thats fine with us. Our main goal is to increase the community and make friends no matter that they drive.

^Oh, ok I can understand why you can't post them up.
If the compete numbers aren't correct, where do you think they're getting their numbers from then?

Just my observation but there are at least 10 times the unique daily post for the Gen Coupe site compared to the entire Hyundai line here at HA. Just saying.

^Okay, that is true. I have a few answers for that.
1. This forum is not model-specific. Maybe you were around rdtiburon.com in 2002-2003? In all its 8 years, we had maybe 6-8 members with fast turbo Tiburons (one was in Korea and he was caucasian lol). By 4 years, that number went down to half. By 8 years, that number went down to 1. That member is Regit. Hi Regit!
2. The Hyundai community is not large, certainly not as large as the Honda community. That is why you see such inclines in sales figures--simply because we're catching up at an alarming rate but not because we're matching their sales.
3. Certainly no FWD car is a sports car. The Genesis Coupe is officially the very first sports car and a game-changer. Nobody at any other Hyundai forum cares to remember the 1973 Hyundai Coupe. We do (or I make them
). Naturally, you will end up with more die-hard tuners for a real sports car designed for tuning, than you will people that simply appreciate their economic cars.
4. We're not rich.
