<- Not a single penny over! I built mine on Hyundai's website, got the price and paid that much for it, with a few things thrown in for free like the wing badges.

I know the sales manager there, and have bought my last 5 cars there, as well as recommended tons of friends and family

so, you paid under the dealer invoice... they paid you to buy the car?

how much did you pay, and what package did you get?

I paid maybe $1500 over because I was stupid and couldn't wait to have the car, and it was relatively hard to find in my area when I bought it. No dealers were willing to trade or ship, and most were also unwilling to appraise my Tiburon over the phone to know if it was worth over a 2 hour drive. I found the car I wanted in the color I wanted and pulled the trigger.

Invoice price is not the net dealer price. Car dealers always get manufacturer incentives which reduce the actual price.

I got an Internet quote from my local dealer that was 1000.00 below list. Then went and talked to a salesman who was trying to get me to pay full retail as they had to go fetch it. Until I printed out the email for the Internet quote.

the Hyundai Circle program states that it'll match "dealer invoice" - that's why I was wondering how he was getting it lower than dealer invoice.

Invoice and MSRP are two completely different terms... Invoice is what the dealer paid for the car... and thats what I paid for mine.
