Default HID bulbs melting figlight housing

Has anyone had any problems with HIDs melting their foglight housings? The inside of my foglights have apparently been melting away surrounding the HIDs I have inside. I have had no problems with any of my other HIDs installed on my car... It looks like crap

I've had 55w HIDs in my fogs for almost two years. As long as I don't have them on while the car is not moving the lenses don't get hot. No melting at all. I do have them wired in so they only come on with the hi beams. But do use them quite a bit.

I've heard of 55w melting the housings, but can't recall any problems with 35w.

I thought mine were melting as there is a hole on the back but it is jut a vent hole. If I left them on and was not moving I think they would cause problems.
