Default Hawk or EBC?

Going to be changing the pads on the Genesis this summer and I'm torn between the 2 brands. There are some major fans of both and they seem to have similar characteristics between each. Has anybody had both on their cars and do they have a solid opinion of which is better?

I've used both and would run Hawk pads again if I was going to autocross but probably not EBC. It depends on what you're doing with the car. Unless you're racing or otherwise braking repeatedly I would get whatever is the quietest and produces the least dust. There is very little difference during street driving or even emergency stopping unless you get economy pads which are garbage.

I dont really race my car or do any aggressive driving. I have Hawks on my car and they are great for daily driving and theres no brake fade at all if I do need to stop fast.

Hawk HPS will give more stopping power though there's a slight increase in brake dust when compared to ceramic pads.

I had Hawk HPS and took them off for some EBC yellowstuffs. Yellowstuffs have over 40k on them and are only half worn.
