Not other Hyundai owners but other people in general? Hyundai gets a lot of hate and now that they have a RWD sports car with quite a bit of power and turbos, it seems like people hate on them and get pissed when they see them even more than before. Cant explain the phenomenon but I see it more and more.



As for Gen Coupe owners, thats totally different and they just seem to piss of other Gen Coupe owners all the time.

 

GC owners get a bad rep but mot of the ones I have met in person are pretty cool



I think the biggest problem is, like Honda in the 80's/early 90's, Hyundai is still known as that impostor, low-end brand to be feared and despised. It's been a tough road, but we are clearly winning the masses. The tuner crowd is soon going to have to admit to the brand soon enough.



The reason the internet pissing matches get so bad is because the cars are affordable, so more people can buy them. a**holes included.

Plus people dont want to admit that Hyundai and Kia are kicking ass in sales and quality. So its easier for them to keep hating on them instead of accepting them as a contender in the list of auto manufacturers.

 

I think the Gen Coupe community hate on each more than owners of other cars
