Compound Turbo
Sequential setups are much preferred on a street driven vehicle. My pictures are really bad examples. Most sequential setups have similar size turbos while compound setups have drastically different size turbos. Completely opposite of my two pictures.
Compound setups have high intake temps, although I have seen them with two intercoolers. The other huge disadvantage to a compound setup is that you want the smaller turbo to be on the limits of what it can do under full load/full boost so it isn't common to surge the smaller turbo. More of a race dedicated setup.
It is a neat idea to play with though.
