Bilstein stuts

Seems someone has found Bilstein struts for the GenCoupe. Only available in Europe at the time. SHOX said they could import them at $200 each.

Parts catalogue

BILSTEIN - B6 SPORT part number 35-196389 for the front and 24-196390 for the rear.

BILSTEIN - B8 SPRINT part number 35-197348 for the front and 24-193702 for the rear.

Anyone know of any Bilstein dealers in the US who might import them?

I've ordered from shox about 6 times, but their customer service the last time was not honorable. They got my part # clearly all wrong (I even called Eibach and they confirmed that shox got it wrong), didn't want to admit it even though their mistake was clear as day, and never wanted to return or replace the wrong item.

Those parts are probably special order from their distributor in Germany, which they will just as likely not offer to return if wrong part # or defective, so if you have to order from them, make sure they have the right damn part #, and make sure if they will send you a return shipping label if they fudge up.

I don't need struts yet but am glad to see that some are at least made for the Coupe. I emailed Bilstien in Germany about importing them. Maybe they will set it up for all their dealers in North America.

They are on ebay. I've purchased dozens of items from international and European sellers. I'd advise the Gen guys to contact sellers on there: http://www.ebay.de/itm/BILSTEIN-B14-...item19ccb7d251

Too bad it is in German. 909 eros is nearly $1100 US. The SHOX info was around $200 each.
