To everyone who has a lip kit, did you use double side tape or did you screw the lip to the front bumper? Im afraid double sided tape wont be strong enough and Im not sure what kind of screws to use without cracking the lip. Any suggestions?
I would NEVER use double sided tape, specially when gravity will be wanting to rip it off.. if its urethane or FG you can drill holes in it to use screws. i personally prefer toggle bolts with BIG washers if you can do it.. puts the pressure on a bigger surface area when you tighten it up.

I bet a 3-4" wide full-length strip of 3M VHB would hold as well as or better than bolts, and maybe have less chance of damage when it got ripped off. Foam tape never, and a thin strip of generic doublestick tape never.

This stuff never fails to impress:

E6000 from Walmart, or Amazing GOOP from Home Depot. I use it for everything. It's weather resistant, dries quickly, not messy, holds like superglue. You just have to make sure to tape the lip in place while the glue is drying.
It's easy to remove too (not when something is REALLY attached on it, or when it gets soaked in water).

I used bolts and bolted it on. I commute so I wanted to make sure through all sorts of weather, road conditions, and speed that it would stay on. It's easily removable by just taking the bolts out... no damage.
