Default Annoying rattles and noises thread

Figured it would be good to start a thread where people can talk about annoying rattles or noises their cars are making. My trunk rattles a little bit, but I think I know whats causing it and planning to fix it this week.

::Knock on Wood:: My HD Elantra has been REALLY good about not doing that. My XD elantra was horrible about making crazy noises.

Drivers side seatbelt buckle, makes a weird squeak sometimes, very odd. When its really cold things rattle and squeak a lot, but other than that its been pretty good. Glad its not a winter car.

My engine mounts have a shore A stiffness of 85, so that plus an interior that has been removed and installed by me, so much stuff rattles. It is obscene.

My hood used to rub against my rocker cover as well, if that counts. Nothing a dremel couldn't fix.

Had an issue with a passenger seat rattle. It was an annoying issue because I couldn't replicate it at the dealer. One day I had my laptop on the seat and noticed the noise went away. I realized that if someone was sitting in the seat then there would be no rattle. I had the tech ride in the backseat and he noticed the noise too. They tried to fix it by placing padding below the headrest which worked for a good week and then the noise came back again. When I brought it in, the tech said it he didn't hear anything. I had the Service Adviser come out with me and she heard the noise. Then the tech said it was normal to hear the noise. They said they would need to get approval from the District Manager and they would get back to me. This went on for a month without a status update. I decided to take it to another dealer. They easily heard the noise and took apart the passenger seat and were able to fix it.

Needless to say, I'll never go back to the first dealer
