Default 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe: Yes or No?

So found this gem at a local dealer:

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

This was the car that I've always wanted since I got back from Germany 3 years ago. I did a walk around yesterday and this thing is BONESTOCK (from what I could tell due to the dealer being losed and not being able to look under the hood). The only thing I saw wrong with it was that the front bumper's spoiler had some damage from bottoming out and the car had some stupid mirror tint on the car. I know I have modded the Speed to hell and back (except for new turbo) but this was my "dream car".

I did the math and my car payments would go down $150-$200 a month

My insurance would go down $25 a payment

My Black Book tradein (what that dealer uses) is $16500 w/o mods for the speed and I owe $13500

I am talking to the dealer now and the only real worries I have is what the engine bay looks like and if the clutch is shot to sh*t. Is there anything else I should look for? I'm getting married in 2 weeks and moving to VA at the end of next month for my new assignment. Part of me says to keep the Speed due to cargo space and FWD>RWD in the snow but other half says that saving money on this trade-in would help a lot.

$14k when it has almost 64K on the clock is not a good deal. If it was closer to $10, then ok. I just did blue book on my 2010 with 32K on it, and it came out at $14.5K. That's without any mods and if it was 100% stock.

Chances are the clutch could get maybe another year or two (12-20K miles) out of it, depending on how it was driven most of it's life. But chances are, some kid owned it before you that wasnt too easy on the car. Plus, who knows what condition the turbo is in also. So if you get it for cheap, budget in some money for upgrades to keep it going.

Yeahhhhhh I was looking at KBB's Fair Purchase Price and it says that I should only pay between $10,797 and $12,798...

Honestly, if I were you, I'd keep the speed. You know the history of the car, you've modded it to your liking, and more then likely the speed is way faster then the Gen coupe. If you have a high interest rate, I would look into getting it refinanced. I think a lot of rates around here are 2 to 3%.

The Genesis is more fun and more sporty looking than the MS3. And there isnt much you have to do to make it comparable in terms of speed. Just a tune and you'll be fine. But I would also be fearful that the clutch and turbo might have some wear and tear on it due to the age of the car and mileage. If you can get it for 10 grand, and you sell your MS3 for 16.5, that will leave you with 3 grand to play with. You could easily get a tune, new clutch, exhaust, intake, some injectors, and a new turbo to put you over 400 horses.

find a 2013 2.0T, the extra power is worth a few extra dollars, and you won't have to pay much more than $14k. Full exhaust and intake will see 310whp 330wtq with a tune. The fit and finish is 10x better on the 2013, and the interior is so much nicer. The front bumper and hood is definitely uglier than the 2010, but seeing your Mazda reminds me that you don't care about that

Seriously, the 2013 is leaps and bounds beyond the 2010, performance, interior, etc. That is NOT a good price for a 2010.

I am also a MS3 owner and love the smiley front. I am also getting a 13 GC. I am rather excited, and never once would I even think about buying a pre-13 GC. Think Majik sum'd up why already.
