Which gives a better signal?

I want a new antenna but I dont want my signal to go to crap. Which of these 2 would have the better signal? I know nothing will be as good as the OEM antenna but I want something a little different.

Rubber Antenna

Shorty (S2000) style

The second looks better, the first may provide a better signal.

Go with the second.

My car came with an "internal" antenna that was littpe more than a ferite core in a fancy plastic box, and it was good enough for the stereo the guy had in it.

You could also put in an electric antenna like I'm going to be doing, more than enough room.

I had an S2000 shorty antenna on my Tib, and never once lost a signal. Then again...I mostly watched music videos on dvd instead of listening to regular conventional radio. :)

The shorter the worst it will get.
