ECU Upgrade for 2000 elantra

ok my elantra revs out at about 127 mph or so......my buddy told me that if i get an ECU upgrade that there will be no rev limiter, is this true? and on top of that is there a ECU upgrade for elantras?

Nothing reliable yet, plus 127 mph is DAMN FAST!!!!! remember also you'll need other upgrades to to stay at those speeds, tires, suspension or well, trees hurt.

I posted a rant about ECU's earlier today, check out the thread here on this forum titled "NEED MORE HP AND TORQUE" or something like that.

ECU's for Hyundai cars really aren't worth the hassle... The only real ECU that's worth crap on any car is on VW's, big-displacement motors, and factory-turboed cars. Small displacement N/A motors just don't get much from an ECU swap.
