Anybody do this before? Our roofs seem to vibrate alot when you have the bass pumping. Thinking that maybe throwing a layer of dynamat between the roof and headliner might help out some. But then I would have to spray glue or something on the headliner to make it stick to the dynamat, right?

You know what else keeps the roof from moving? Turning the radio down. This also contributes to you not being a deaf old person. If you are a smart young person, you turn the radio down when the structural panels of your car start vibrating.
I read the title wrong and thought you were trying to make it a convertible, the fast way.
I was going to say dynamite can be dangerous depending on how it is made.. use a small amount of C4 (faster blast = better "cut")

I did it. It's pretty easy, and the stuff stuck really well. Just take off the headliner (and the other pieces that hold it up) put on the dynamat, mash it down really well with a wallpaper tool, and you'll be good to go.
Seemed to help the sound, but now I have a slight whistling sound above 20mph. Yes, annoying, and has been doing it for about 80k miles now (since I dynamatted). Sounds like a boiling teapot, just a little quieter.
