Location of specific fuse

Lights won't go off, please help me locate the location in the fuse box

so I can try to pull it before I get a dead battery. I do have Triple A, but cancelled the extended towing, so it will cost.

Look at the underside of the fuse panel cover - it should say something about lights. If you're still confused, take a photo of the lid and post it so we can help.

Thanks, but I use a flip phone without camera. Remember that you are talking about someone with a 2005 Accent. It does say "Brakes" but then it says 10 and an 8. Every fuse, almost, is numbered 10, and I don't see an 8.

You can always separate the main power cable at the battery. And it will not hurt anything to pull fuses you don't know what they are for, except for the airbag fuses which should be clearly marked.

10 and 8 referrs to the fuse locations, the numbers on the fuses are their amperage ratings. Make sure you don't switch amperage when you put them back.

*EDIT* - And not to be rude, but it sounds like you're a bit out of your league on this, so I'd take Stocker's advice and disconnect the negative (black) battery cable off until you're ready to drive again. Don't touch it to the red one.

Hey don't knock '05 Accent owners! ;)

Just pull out fuses one at a time. If the tail lights don't go out, put the fuse back and pull the next one. You mentioned brakes, so I'm assuming it's the tail lights.
