Anyone have experience with hydrodipping?
I'm semi-familiar with the process that shops with large tanks/baths use on parts and guns, but stumbled upon this today:
http://www.mydipkit.com/index.html Video of some guy using their kit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cw208INceug Their videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/MyDipKit/videos Anyone have any experience with this? Is it as easy as it looks? I think this would be a great way to give small interior/under hood pieces a nice look. |
I've had parts hot dipped by a local shop and all they charge is $40 for as many parts as I want, as long as it all fits in their bathtub.
edit: Guess I shouuld have watched the vid. :duh5: |
I don't like hydro CF. Looks too fake. I like the idea of using it for other designs though.
