Hi any one with a Accent got any decent mods, also how come you lot have a 1.6 version Accent? The biggest in the UK is a 1.5 16v! Strange.

Right now the only thing i can think of is to wait for HyundaiPerformance.com's aftermarket to open up. From what i've read they're getting all types of stuff from Korea. By the way could you e-mail me back with where you got the chip and what MVI means.

MVI is the "sport" version of the accent in the UK. I don't know that it really has any "engine" or "exhaust" modifications...but it is considered the "sporty" accent.

At least you have 16v. We only have 12v 1.5 in the US.

So does the MVI have a different cams or varible valve timing or what? Cause it has a smaller enigine than the GS here in the states and all AccentMVI has (or saying aloud that he has) is a chip, exhaust, intake, and port & polishing bring him close to 280 hp. So I was wondering if the MVI has a sort of VTEC.

Thanks for the reply guys, I havn't got any pics at the moment:
http://www.motor-mag.co.uk/dreamblade/news.htm

These are the guys that did my car, I am good mates with Craigs (the guy who owns Blade Street)mechanic, him and myself are currently completly re-vamping the accent to build the AccentGT (which is the equivalent version of the Accent MVI with a larger capacity and a GT bodykit).

Craig bored the engine out to a 1.8, so it is a lot faster, then with twin bodies and not forgetting a 75bhp NOS wet system we come to around 200bhp. The rest is explaned in the list i.e filters and chips.

If you want to find out about throttles bodies go to a company called Jenvey motorsports, they will custom build bodies for you and ship them to the US.

Superchips come from a company called FSE, as did the boost valve.

Any more info, you can e-mail me.

picture will be posted when I get the car back from Craig (the painting is still being done).
