Default Taking off alternator

Ive got my alternator off, after a whole lot of BS, such as having to remove the oil filter to get it out.

Now the wire clip is still plugged in, & i cant get the damn thing out.

Someone please help, all i need off is that clip.

wire clip? There should just be a plastic push tab connector. If you push the tab in, the connector should pop off/out.

I just pulled the oil filter off. Pulled that lil bioch off and strapped on a new one... no problems. Was I just lucky or do I have a problem with tension that I dont know about?

You might. If you have more than half an inch of free play (about 12mm) then yeah, you've got too much slack in your alternator belt. Check the slack in the belt, and adjust if necessary.

Viper-
Just make sure you don't OVER tighten the belt. It can wear out the bearings in the device (water pump, Alt, ac condensor, etc..etc.) and it can also wear out the belt much faster, in addition to putting excess drag on the motor.
