MMM wierd when my speedo used to stick they demanded a new sender unit and told me it was not a cable. I wonder if this is another differance between UK and US as soon as its warm im taking a look.

Why do you need to replace the cable?

1st Gen Tiburon 01-30-2003 02:17 PM

snapped, and now it reads 0 mph, and the odometer doesn't move

Random 01-30-2003 02:51 PM

Schmitt. How did you manage that?

I can't find anything on the cable itself, just on the speedo gear withing the tranny.

Nothing on the cable attachment to the back of the circuit board going to the gauge cluster.
