short circuit ?
Any one ever had this kind of power problem?
The car was parked for 3 days and the battery was dead, totally. sad.gif I got it going with a boost and straight into the dealer, about a 6-minute drive. But the dealer couldn't find anything wrong and insists I "must have left something on".
I know nothing was left on, so nothing that I know of was drawing power except the clock and the alarm. or maybe the windows? my Tib is one of those with haunted window switches that decide when they will or won't work.
Also, the dealer says the battery was fully charged; can that happen in only a few minutes of driving?
My worry is that there's an intermittent problem that will strike again, and maybe when I'm way out in the boonies. Anyone else encountered something like this, and -- even better -- found the solution

i dont have the dead battery problem, but i had the haunted window switch prob untill i got pissed and broke the button cause it was raining, and hyundai replaced the switch under warrenty. so all i can say is brake the switch and have it replaced, at least to solve that problem.

If you check the battery voltage when you first park the car, then check it again after 2-3 hours, that should show you if you are loosing voltage.
If you are loosing voltage while parked, keep pulling fuzes until the voltage jumps back up. Start with the interior fuzes, then go on to the engine compartment fuzes.
Leave the fuze out, when you go on to your next fuze. When you think you have found the problem system, start plugging fuzes back in and make sure no other system is draining the battery.
