Has anyone else had a very squeaky power steering pump? It seems to only happen at idle,and it sounds external like it's a bearing. Any ideas are appreciated!

 

no, but I got a squeaky hatch, a squeaky clutch pedal and a queaky rearview mirror.

I'm trying to collect them all wink.gif wink.gif

 

Yeah, I've got the hatch squeak and the cluth pedal squeak too. Not the mirror yet though. I know how to fix them both, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. rolleyes.gif

 

i got a squeeky sterring wheel and my mirror

how do you fix the hatch squeak?

 

O.K. open the hatch and look down, on either side you will see a little black nobby thing (technical term) rotate those counter-clockwise about 1 turn to start with. This will raise it a little. Shut the hatch, bounce it up and down to see if the squeak persists. If it does, turn them some more, if it dosen't you're good to go! wink.gif
