Default Hey Guys With the A/F Guages

OK, got the guage hooked up, but neither white wire worked. One made the guage read all rich all the time, the other didn't do anything. The gray one made it read all rich all the time too. I ended up hooking it up to the black one which makes it fluctuate wildly at idle. However, it seems to work ok when I'm driving normally. Uhhh. Anyone know what I should do now?

Thanks in advance, guys.

I'd go with the black one. Mine goes crazy at idle too!

hyundai seems to have no color loyalty when it comes to wireing...

Cool, that's kind of what I figured, but I wanted to find out what you thought. Thanks, Random, I appreciate it.

AF gages swing like that. this is how it reads the signal. When you drive it will give you the reading.

Cool, I didn't know that about A/F guages. Now I can stop worrying about something being all screwed up. Thanks gentlemen.

The black one? Hyundai please at least stick to basic iso codes and keep black ground and red live. Yeah it is a fun light at idle, up down up down, this is due to the ECU ignoring the sensor at idle, when you drive it reads the sensor and you get the reading in the guage, it's not accurate but helps for way rich or way lean, not to be used for tunning ( except nos where you always want to be rich ) but useful safty meter smile.gif if you see lean yellow STOP WHAT EVER YOU ARE DOING sad.gif
