Hey out there to all my fellow hyundai tuners... I am kinda in a bind, and need info A.S.A.P.!!! See, I own a '94 Elantra 5-speed, with the little 1.6L. engine, and I want to replace the air filter with a K&N and take out the air filter box or should i say canister, completely, is this possable due the the freakin stupid MAFS??? I dear hope so, also, the color of my car is this brownish color, but I need to know what the exact color is called, and of any paint manufacturers who make this color, I am going to put dual 6" racing strips on my car, but I was wondering if anybody had any good suggestions on what color they should be, I was thinking maybe silver, but I don't know, help me out here, please... Do some reading. I have darn near 1000 posts and I do ask some weird questions from time to time..I try to do some research girst...(I'm having an outta body experience and floated into RANDOMS body)

Yes, just remove the stock airbox and install a tube onto the maf, and put the airfilter on the end of the tube. If possible locate the filter in the fenderwell to get cold air, yet still be protected from the elements.




The paint code is on the inside drivers door sill. Just about any paint manufacturers paint can be mixed to match that color.

If the car is reddish/brown, marron stripes would be suble, and not overstated, black stripes match everything, white or yellow would REALLY stand out...ditto for Green. I'm not too sure silver and brown would go together.
