How many miles on your tib?
In my experiences in the shop, I've found that the clevis pin that connects the clutch pedal and clutch master cylinder to be faulty, try removing the clevis pin and rotating it 180 degrees and reinstall it nd give it a try.

Mine does this to and it is a 2001. Correct me if i'm wrong but do tibs have hydraulic clutches. I'm not sure but mine always does it when it is cold thus my reasoning behind the hydraulic part.

My guess is that it is your Clutch starter switch that will not let you start the car unless the clutch is pushed in. It is probably just noisy. It should make the clicking sound any time the car is on, and the cluch pedal is released/depressed.
Try it with the car in neutral and the e-brake up.

I have the same problem.. IT doesn't happen when it is in gear.. Only when it is cold outside, OR when I start the car in the morning. I am fairly worried myself.. It doesn't really make a sound, it is more of a feeling.. Kinda like the clutch is grabbing right at the end.. (I have 9000 miles on mine, clutch isn't burnt) Thanks Random.. I am sure you can advise.. smile.gif

I just came back from the dealership and they looked at my car and said there is nothing wrong, they said it's the hydrolic fluid in the clutch master cyclinder moving around and when the weather changes you can somtimes hear it.
