Default is this ecu compatible to the rd1?

Is this ecu compatible to an rd1 2.0L autotragic?

http://www.actronics.eu/en/product/4...03955121B.html

I ask coz a mechanic here is insisting that it is. I've heard of 1.8L ecu swaps coming from a tib going to a tib but not of a 1.8l ecu swap from an elantra.

If it's compatible, What changes should i observe? Will it be safe to run?

Thanks!

Btw, i'm not from the US so wouldn't have a bosch ecu. The original 2.0l tib ecu i have is also a simens with part number 39100_23580 or 39110_23580. The replacement ecu the mechanic is suggesting is 39100_2330 or 39110_2330 which i believe is from a 1.8 elantra. Thanks again!

Speaking for the US market, 1996-2000 Elantras and 1997-2001 Tiburons could interchange engine computers and have only minor tuning changes (engine size) if that. Transmission computers, not so much. I couldn't tell you if they're different where you are.

What is the asking price for that unit?
