Crankshaft postion sensor, where is it?

Default Crankshaft postion sensor, where is it?

Need help locating the crankshaft postion sensor. Tired of my car dying and not starting.

Front of the block trans side. By the coolant hoses. There are two sensors there its the one farthest right.

spoon time..



here:

see the empty hole under the hard coolant pipe (just under the clamp) with the 10mm bolt at the bottom of the 'flange' thats where the crank sensor is/goes.

Thank you for your help socks. That's what I originally thought. But some guy at advanced auto said that wasn't it. I am throwing a code for a ckp sensor though. Ill post the code to be sure.

theres your problem!!! HAHA the guy at advanced auto probably wouldn't know the difference in a DOHC or SOHC either.
