They pretty much covered it.

Since the beta and sirus are totally different engine lines, I don't even think the journals would line up with the bearings. (i.e. the crank would not fit).

Now you MIGHT get away with dropping a 2.0L beta crank into the 1.6L beta...but since the 2.0 is the largest the beta has to offer...I don't think it will work.

But, hell, run with it, don't take my word for it. It just might work!
