Default 2000 tib ecu help

i did the auto/manual swap. shadohh told me how to put my ecu in manual mode, but i'm having a problem doing that. if anyone's worked on their ecu, please help me out. here's where i'm stuck:

after you pull the silver lever on the ecu plug to release one side of the plug, there's like a hinge or something holding the other side. I got as far as taking the screw holding this side out, but there was like a pin or hinge also securing it. So, that's where i'm stuck. my second question is, how do i get the piece of plastic off of the back of the plug to see which wire goes to which pin? Does is snap off, or is it a pain in the ass? If it snaps off, i'm assuming i can do the necessary work to switch ecu modes without having to actually take off the plug.
