AC Smells like a dead Woodland Creature
 

Plainly enough.. My AC smells like a Raccon crawled up and died in my accumulator.. Smells REALLY REALLY REALLY bad...

There is some kind of spray (forget what the name of it is) that you can spray into the vents to get rid of the smell but other than that your stuck with it because what happens is the condensation from the cold air builds up inside the piping for the vents and produces almost like a fungis when it sits and then the next time you use it you smell the fungis evaperating but fear not it builds up again so you have the same pleasent smell the next time. I know it sucks I have it to and I'm sure everyone else has it to but get that spray any parts store should have it just tell them what you are trying to do (elliminate the smell in the a/c) and they will know what to get you.

Either that, or something really DID crawl in there and die! LOL!

Some generic Lysol disenfectant spray does the trick...but your car smells like Lysol for a week aftwards...but that is preferable to dead racoon.

yea my friend had a mouse end up in his air condition ing vents while the car was in storage, it chewed a hole in the piping in his car and got in there and couldnt get out or just plain died, anyways it took us 3 days to find the source, we had to use his neighbors police dog finally to pinpoint it... god it stunk
