Tired of idiots? If you can't beat them, join them using the MinusIQ pill, which permanently lowers your intelligence quotient.

Okay, so the product isn't actually real, but the concept behind it may be something that's crossed your mind once or twice. According to the amusing faux commercial, MinusIQ offers pills that can reduce your IQ by 10, 30 and 50 points.

"Why should I consider lowering it, you might ask? Because life is easier and the world is a much happier place when you're dumb," says Cornelius Grouppe, a neurologist and senior research chemist at Sleepthinker. (While this man is an actor, Sleepthinker is a real-life London-based creative production company).

Grouppe recommends lowering your IQ to 70, which still enables you to "tie your shoelaces and write an average rap song."

After taking it, self-awareness, decency, lack of confidence and fear "cease to exist," and soon, activities such as drunk driving and setting your flatulence on fire will become enjoyable.

Side effects — including disliking people of other races, sexual orientations and "basically anyone different from you" — won't be much of a problem because your lower-IQ self will now be part of the majority, Grouppe says, adding: "The world's a much brighter place when you're not too bright for it."

Yeah, its not real but if it ever does come into existence....so help us all. Isnt there enough dumb people already in the world? :nuts2: :Shifty:

That explains most of Faith's posts

But seriously, I don't think becoming neither stupid nor smart would make you happy for long. The process of change is what makes people happy, not the end result itself. The human brain is wired to never let us stagnate - ie the brains that made us unhappy with one situation after a while were the ones that did cool things and reproduced and here we all are today.
