Default Logic or Creativity?

Left lobe vs right lobe. Which do you think is more important in the sense that either of which will help you reach your goal most efficiently?

Logic is clearly superior to creativity because if one decides their creative side is more useful than their logical side in reaching their goal then one has reasoned through logic that if one pursues creativity then he/she will reach their goal. They used a hypothetical syllogism, a logical mechanism in order to come to that conclusion.

In other words, creativity cannot occur without logic in my opinion.

Coming from someone useing the logic part of their brain.... Goals are associated with logic, so if raching your goals is the goal, then of course logic. But, the same milestone might be achieved if not higher by the creative person just being creative, not attempting to reach the logical persons goals though still possible surpasing them.

A logical person wants to create a masterpiece with picture, they try to get the right sun light, angles, mood ect. And usually make a decent looking picture. A creative person just paints what is on their mind, because they are creative and want to make it.....This ends up becoming a masterpiece. See the difference? Though just the same, sometimes the creative person makes crap...but it is 'creative' and the logical personr really thinks it out well and makes a masterpiece.

Basically, I wouldn't rule out one of the other or say one is better than the other or more desired. Though the extremes of both can be bad, they both can compliment each other very well and a little of both will more often yeild the best results.

People who swing too far in either direction are painful to be around. But they are usually very good at their niche activity.
