How often do you get your cholesterol checked?
 

People have told me you should have it checked every year during annual physicals. Other people said its not necessary unless you're over the age of 30. Im going to see my doc in about a month anyway so I'll talk to him about it but I wondered how often some of you guys get it checked.

I know a lady who works at a skin doctor. She said I should get a skin exam every year. My dentist says I should get my teeth checked AND cleaned every year.



Everyone who makes a living keeping you healthy wants to see you more often. Get it checked at least once. If the number is reasonable, don't sweat it. If it's way high, it's time to start making lifestyle changes.
