will cracking knuckles and bones lead to problems in the future? ive heard different stories that it will create arthritus and make your knuckles bigger by cracking them all the time. is this just a myth or is will it really happen?

It's a myth...It was brought about by Dr. Mom, who was most likely irritated by the cracking noise when her children/husband/etc.. cracked knuckles and thus she said that to have them stop doing it.

This reminds me of when I was little and I wanted to try coffee. My mom told me that if I drank coffee I would grow a mustache. Now I'm 24 I drink a lot of coffee and no mustache, what gives?
