*First US release*
The newly released X-TRM Super Single Clutch Kit uses the latest clutch technology to create a super lightweight clutch system that dissapates heat quickly and holds all the power your BETA engine can produce. These clutch systems are rated to hold 400+WHP and have been engineered to provide long-lasting performance. The forged flywheel is one of the lightest in its class ( 3.6KG ~7.9lbs) couple with the 5 puck clutch disc and billet aluminum pressure plate make it one of the lightest clutch system available for our vehicles.

The pedal pressure is only slightly harder than stock and the clutch system is VERY streetable... even during rush hour. Those of you with VHR systems already, it feels even better - I've had both in my car.

For the first release of the X-TRM Super Single Clutch kit, I've been given pricing that's better than on the Korean economy. Koreans have to pay over $1000 USD PLUS shipping:
Babomall Price

Pricing will be $750 USD shipped until further notice!!!

I'll be running this on other forums as well, so we should only have to come up with about 5 to hit the top tier.

what are the differences between this kit and the VHR kit with the 4 puc sprung disc ??

can i just buy the clutch disc ?

Airborne 02-20-2006 06:35 PM

^^^
You could, but it would do you no good. It's the combination between the pressure plate and the clutch disc that hold down the power.

Main differences:
Lighter rotational mass
100+whp higher capacity
Higher heat dissapation (critical)
Longer clutch life
Easier clutch engagement

Here's a PDF that breaks the clutch system down and lets you know of all the benefits and construction

01tibby 02-20-2006 06:47 PM

that might be a bit too much for the site to handle, but ill let supercow(tech) know about this.

Tibminn 02-20-2006 07:37 PM

is there a no flywheel option or is it pretty much a package deal?

Airborne 02-20-2006 07:55 PM

It's a package deal since the flywheel is customized to the pressure plate and the mountings are different from stock.

supercow 02-20-2006 11:25 PM

airborne, try that pdf again cool.gif

Airborne
Just wondering if this GB that you have going on here for the extreme clutch Single kit the same as the one in your other thread on the Extreme kit i asked you about? smile.gif

Airborne 02-22-2006 08:26 PM

Yes, it is the same thing. Now the units are in mass production. I'm working on possibly lowering the price some more because people have said pricing is a little high.

Viper966 02-22-2006 08:34 PM

who makes a dual disc clutch?
i may need one

Airborne 02-22-2006 08:42 PM

We do. What whp requirement do you need?

i need something for over 500WHP... im running a GT35R on race gas this year ... its nice not having to rely on the car for daily driver resposibilites

What will the new price be at?
Also whats the dual clutch look like and some pics! fing02.gif

Loneshark 02-24-2006 09:59 PM

I already own a VHR Xtrm kit !!!! but it came with a 4 puc disc, that wore out in 19000 miles, so i put the stock disc back in, but now im thinking the stocker is done, so how much for one of these discs ???

REDZMAN 02-24-2006 10:04 PM

Don't think you had the Xtrm one man, this was JUST released.

Airborne 02-24-2006 10:35 PM

I'll get some pics of the twin disc clutch, but no word on price or production dates. I'll let everyone know when i find out.

loneshark-
You just have the VHR 215-PLT. I can get you a new disc for for that kit for $275 shipped.

*Updated Pricing*
I went back to the distributor and we agreed on some lower pricing. All sets will be $750 USD Shipped until further notice!!!

Loneshark 02-25-2006 12:13 AM

yea i do have the 215, but i dont want the disc that goes with it .

it wears down too fast for everyday driving !!!

im sure the Xtrm disc which from the pic is a 5 puc will last alot longer and should fit just fine !!

can you confirm that it would fit

Airborne 03-12-2006 08:50 PM

Sorry it took so long to get the info, but the Xtrm clutch disc is too thick. You're better off getting the 215PLT disc again or selling it to upgrade to the Xtrm.

tdonnell 03-27-2006 09:45 PM

So, will this work on a 98 tiburon? Just had to ask lol. What is the weight of the entire assembly vs. stock (if you know)? If not then a rough estimate would do.

It does look sexy, an aluminum pressure plate just sounds awesome. Too bad nobody will be able to see it.

If the clutch and pressure plate wear out, will the flywheel be usable with a different clutch/pressure plate, or is it one of those modular types?

How long will these be available at this price? Will it be going down any time soon? I can probably buy one in the next month or two if this is still going on. Please let me know.

Thanks airborne!!! cool.gif

Airborne 04-03-2006 08:29 AM

This will work for ALL beta series engines. I'd guestimate ~10lbs weight savings compared to the stock flywheel/pressureplate/clutch combo. VERY significant weight savings on rotational mass.

Yeah, I wish people could see it too. You could probably print out a picture and put it in your car. lmao.gif

The pressure plate won't wear out for the life of your car, but the clutch disc may if you race on it everyday like me. In this case, I can get you a replacement anytime.

I doubt the prices will go down anytime soon. They're more likely to go up.

Tiburonsrule 08-23-2006 05:25 PM

How do i order one of these clutches do i just send you a paypal payment???

balbains324 08-29-2006 06:53 AM

Dude....let me know if your shipping to the UK?

alice6 10-10-2006 10:02 PM

Are these clutch kits still available?
