ne 1 up for a GB on a 4-1 header?

REDZMAN 03-15-2004 08:43 PM

We just had one awhile ago for Headers. 4-2-1's I think but still.

We are sorta group buy'd out. The Clutch one looks good though.

I missed that one too! How did I do that? Anyways, I got the 4-1 "Ceramic" off ebay for $50. The ceramic comes off after a couple of days though.

My friend just got one of those 4-1 Ceramic, cost him only 100.00CND at the door, that's only $75.00US was a good deal. But I figure there was something about it since we paid 100US for the 4-2-1 from the same SSAutochrome. Would the 4-2-1 provide a better performance then the 4-1 ?

Djnevamind 03-29-2004 11:26 PM

depends 4-2-1 is good for all around automatics and 4-1 are really good for 5spds becuase you can control you're rpm at will :-)
I have two of the 4-2-1 one in my 5spd 2000 elantra and the other in my 2001 tiburon but I'm gonna buy the 4-1 soon for my elantra I got a real good deal from ssautochrome a while back thus the 4-2-1 on both I tried to get the 4-1 but I did'nt want to push my luck.

someones gotta run dynos on these things. wink.gif

i thought i read somewhere that the ssautochrome header actually showed no gain in hp.

REDZMAN 03-30-2004 07:46 AM

A header by it'self probably won't show much, you need an exhaust.

cdogtibby1 03-30-2004 07:49 AM

got a link to SSautochrome?

Djnevamind 03-31-2004 08:44 PM
