Ok, So I just tried to get on webtech/hmaservice. All my old logins are canceled, they have no record of my email or anything. Then when I tried to register a new one, it now asks for money. Quite a bit of money!
Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, it is paid now, and yes it is more expensive than alldatadiy by quite a lot.
I think this will be what drives the sales of 'official' manuals on CD through eBay (a.k.a. pirated copies of the site from China). I'm sure it will make a bunch of cash for Hyundai, but it certainly cuts the DIY'er off at the knees. That site was one of the best things about owning a Hyundai!
Is it time to start a letter-writing and social media campaign to have a low-volume free membership for the little guy? I think so. Somebody with a lot of friends and facebook etc. contacts . . . go gin up some outrage!

there are still aftermarket publications & illustration books that can be obtained,
i bought a hyundai service manual for RD...along with a yellow paged haynes.
HMA/webtech and their poorly detailed illustrations for my car can shove it!!

This sucks and blows. If you have the means, I highly recommend the gregory's manuals for our cars. They are more accurate and easier to read than the haynes jobbies.
i think it happened as recently as Dec 21/22. A friend sent me a message the day before but there was nothing I could do to get anything downloaded. It was a real last minute notification. It really does suck :-/
Getting a group paid subscription is a good idea, but one bad apple can change the password and take control of the account.
I have a Genesis 2.0 and 3.8 shop manual online if anyone needs one.

If anyone needs something off the site lemme know. I have access for another 6 days. If I know you Ill send the user name / pw and hope that someone doesn't screw me over for the hell of it.

Better idea: download everything. Get all the owners/shop/electrical manuals and all the TSBs for ALL the cars, and then send me a PM.
Never
but
Never
Never give people your passwords for stuff. In addition to being a ToS violation pretty much everywhere, it's also a bad idea. You never know when someone is going to use your account to do things to make the website people hate and/or prosecute you.
