Moving topic to general performance. There is no model specific information. It is always a good practice to quote your source

Doing an oil flush made my car run ALOT better. Took practically all the noise out of my noisy HLAs. Sometimes though the grunge in your engine fills in the damage to the cylinder walls, in which case rinsing would actually make your compression go down and your oil consumption go up. Worth a try though because even if it makes things worse the grunge will fill it back up in no time.

When I moved the post I chose thread 10 rather then forum 10. When the thread showed up in the 9th thread on the site from way back in the day, I asked Visions to move it. I think he deleted it. If you still have it, repost it.. Otherwise we can try to reconstruct the post somehow.
The fast version.
Materials:
Sand paper, emry cloth, steel wool, or stiff wire brush
New bolts (recommended)
Silicone sealant
Basic hand tools
Here is what you do
Locate the grounding point diagram for your car you can go to the HMA service manual sight and look it up specifically for Hyundai it is free just takes sometime to get your user name and password registerd.
Locate each ground on the car based on the diagram. Take the ground wire off and sand the contacts between the wire and where it grounds out on the car, and clean the threads of the bolt hole. For the purest you can use rubbing alcohol to remove all traces of dirt and contamination after you use your sandpaper or etc.
Then place a small amount of silicon sealant on the outside edge of the ground wire connector this helps keep contamination out.
Use a new bolt and tighten the ground connector back to the car/chassis ground. Spray the silicone protectant over the ground wire and installed bolt.
Repeat for all grounds in the car that you can get to.
Pay special attention to the exterior grounds like in the engine compartment and by the fuel tank.
Also any frade or damaged ground wires should be replace at this time to avoid problems cause by grounds.
