Ive had cars park within a couple of inches of my car and have invaded my parking space. If that happens to some of you, do you guys say something to the owner when they get back to their car, or just shoe horn yourself into your car and leave?

"oops, I accidentally dinged the heck out of your door because you park worse than my 2 year old"

? not helpful.

I read that a policeman can have more fun with this. If somebody parks their cruiser too close to your cruiser's driver door in the station parking lot:
*Move their cruiser so their driver's door is an inch from a nearby retaining wall or sign post or whatever
*leave the switches for lights, sirens, radio, windshield wipers, etc all turned on, all volume settings at full blast
*enjoy the spectacle when they finally get into their car, too concerned with the driver's door being blocked to notice the stuff all turned on - it will take at least 30 seconds to switch it all off
*apparently not too many need a repeat lesson

 

actually happened to me this weekend.
we were driving the 6 and stopped for a burger at freddy's frozen custard. i pulled into one parking spot and noticed the guy parked next to me was riding the line.
so i backed out and went to another stall and basically parked perfectly centered. we decided to eat outside roughly 20 ft. from the car and glad we did. there was a guy that pulled into the stall on my passenger side and literally left himself less than 6 inches to get out. I got up, walked over and wedged myself between my car and his drivers side door.
I politely asked him to repark because there was no way possible he was going to be able to get out of his car without his door hitting my car. at first, he was a little pissed and told me to move but then realized i wasn't going to budge he backed up and parked the correct way.

when he got out he told me he didn't realize he had close to 3 feet on the other side in his own stall after he had reparked,lol.

 

^ thats awesome!! wedge yourself between the doors!.gotta remember that one! ..I have on more than one ocassion,waited in my car,window down,arm hanging out for the owner of the asshat parked car to try and get in his door without him/her hitting my arm!, I usually push the door shut on them as the y open it saying"I think you better use the other side!".It actually works!

My wife and my brother tell me I'm the worst for parking because I'll actually park as far as I have to from the mall, just to be sure that there are like 10 empty parking spaces to my left and right. I'm serious! I get pissed seeing dings on my doors when I come back to my car!!! Gets me pissed! Don't people have respect for others' property! I'm so careful not to hit my door against other cars, why can't others be the same?!

 

I keep a tire stem remover in my car for when people think they need to park next to me when i park out in BFE at a mall. I know they do it just to be a dick. one time at the topeka mall some asshat came walking by me bragging about how close he parked next to that hyundai out in BFE in the parking lot. little did he know it was me, out came my tire stem remover and he had 4 flat tires when he came back.
