Did anyone ever get any money from any of the lawsuits? There was one where Hyundai lied about fuel economy and one where they lied about how much horsepower cars had. I think they settled so I wonder how much people got from them.

 

The 1.6 accent I had at the time didn't shift enough to get anything from them. Didn't change the car at all so I really didn't care much. It didn't suddenly get a bit slower because they realized they didn't follow the exact guidelines for claiming horsepower in the states.

 

I got 280 from them lying about the HP rating in the 99 tiburons. Come to find out they only had 135 from the factory.

 

I didn't get jack for my 2001 and I've owned it new since. Wouldn't everyone with every year get a check since it had the same power rating?
