How easy is it replacing a garage door spring?

How easy is it replacing a garage door spring?
One of the springs on my garage door snapped. I watched some youtube vids on replacing it and it seems like an easy fix but I also think that if I mess it up in anyway then things could go real bad if I have anything parked underneath it. Is a fix like that better left to a professional garage repair place?

Where I live, it's like $150 or less to have a spring replaced. It *can* be a DIY job if you're handy. Doing it wrong can maim/kill you and if you're not 100% sure you can do it then please get a professional to do it for you.
