Default cruise/non-cruise throttle body?

When adding cruise control (00 elantra) will I have to get a whole new TB or can I just swap the pulley for one with two cable-grooves?

Depends.... Is your tb shaft long enough to accept a larger/longer/wider (depending on how you look at it) pulley? The Korean non cruise units are not. If yours is similar you need a new TB, or have yours rebuilt with a longer shaft (cheaper to get a new one. Someone said they could get them for $120).

heh, if it means getting a new one or rebuilding mine (which I'd prolly do if I could) I'd prolly just grab the whole thing off the donor vehicle, as long as I'm taking shiz apart.

Thanks guys.
