At least it's only temporary til the AF PCS's me a year from now. Hey, I'll take milton any day over Enid, OK (Vance AFB), Del Rio, TX (Laughlin AFB), or Columbus, MS (COlumbus AFB). As far as flight schools go, I got LUCKY to be picked up to cross train with the Navy. Plus, MIlton isn't all that bad. I live on the north side toward Whiting Field where there really isn't a lot of anything. Stores have everything I need and the beach is only 30 min away. Hell, I'm satisfied haha. But yes, it would be nice to be in Perdido Key like a lot of the guys who are stationed at NAS Pensacola. But they don't fly...so it evens out.

Just kidding. I'm at Eglin. Been stationed there for close to five years now...smh. It's a black hole. Not a bad one to get sucked into but still...I'd like to go somewhere else eventually.
